A tiny but innovative campground project with three small structures housing toilets and showers within a gentle landscape of stone-paved courtyards and exquisitely planted garden terraces. Natural and tactile materials include Wistow Stone roofing, Coldstream Stone walling and recycled corrugated iron. Internally, the limestone paving is warmed underfoot and materials are limited to recycled hardwood and microcement in order to provide a calm and comfortable setting for guests. Hot water for showers is preheated by Zypho vertical drainage heat-recovery systems reducing hot water use by 50%.
